Malaysian actress Nadia Kesuma reported missing at Saudi airport, police investi

PUTRAJAYA, Jan 17 — Malaysian actress Nadia Kesuma has been reported missing at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with the case now under investigation by Saudi police, according to the Malaysian ambassador.

The disappearance occurred on Thursday while she was transiting during a flight from Kuala Lumpur to London.

Malaysian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Datuk Syed Bakri Syed Abdul Rahman confirmed the report to Saudi authorities.

"We are awaiting the outcome of the investigation by the Saudi police," he told Bernama today.

KLIA Police chief ACP M. Ravi said the case has been classified as a missing persons report.

A family member lodged the report at KLIA Police headquarters yesterday.

The report has been referred to the Consulate General of Malaysia in Jeddah for follow-up.

Nadia Kesuma, whose real name is Nadia Kasumawati Abdul Karim, could not be traced during her airport transit.

No further details on her whereabouts or the investigation timeline have been released.

The Malaysian embassy is coordinating with Saudi authorities as the probe continues.
